If you want to get started planning your Disney vacation right away, below are some helpful notes and tips to begin the planning process!
Disney allows your vacation package to be very customizable, which gives you lots of options to choose from – Every little detail is customized for you and your family to have the best vacation ever. Everything! I mean Resorts, Tickets, Park Hoppers, Dining, Character Dining, Magic Express, Bracelets, Memory Package, & much more! These can all be customized to your needs .
CHOOSING A RESORT:
Disney is on 40 square miles of land, with 30+ Resorts located on Disney’s Property. Do not get overwhelmed – there are 5 Resort Categories to choose from depending on your budget. Within these 5 Categories are 5-10 themed resorts to choose from. All Resorts are located in different areas. Feel free to look at the Resort Map I attached to see where they are located. Disney provides transportation to and from Disney Resorts and Theme Parks for guests who stay on Disney’s property.
Okay, so not everyone has to stay on Disney’s property. But we do recommend it if you want the whole experience. It is about the same price to stay at Disney’s Value Resorts on property, as it is to stay off the resort at a hotel nearby. When you stay at a Disney Resort, you will also receive these incentives:
Complimentary Shuttle Transportation from and to Airport (If flying)
Transportation to and from Disney Parks & Resorts
Each Guest receives a Magic Band Bracelet
TICKETS & PARK HOPPERS:
The big question is – “How many days is perfect for Disney World?” Well, there are 4 Theme Parks, 2 Water Parks, and Disney Springs (Old Downtown Disney) that is great for free time, nightlife & entertainment. If you want to see everything, or just about everything, we suggest 4+ days. Disney does offer anything from 2-day tickets up to 10-day tickets with the option of add-on park hoppers and water parks, Park Hoppers allow you to go to more than one park per day. So, remember this when purchasing tickets:
ex: 4 Day Base Ticket- only allows you to go to 1 park per day
ex: 4-Day Base Ticket w/ Park Hopper- allows you to go in between parks and you are not limited. Water park can be added to this option at an additional cost.

MAGICAL EXPRESS:
Magical Express passes are Disney’s complimentary shuttle from and to the airport. If you are using a rental car or took a road trip, you will not need this extra feature. You will also need to provide your flight information, so that Disney can provide a seamless transportation process.
DINING & CHARACTER DINING:
You will have tons of food options to choose from at Disney. Each resort will offer a breakfast and dining options. There are tons of restaurants and little snack huts all over each Theme Park.
If you want a more all-inclusive Disney vacation, there are 4 Disney Dining Packages available for purchase depending on your preferences:
Disney Quick Service Dining Plan:
2 Quick-service meals per person, per night
1 snack per person,per night.
1 drink mug per person, refillable at any quick-service restaurant at your Disney Resort Hotel.
Disney Dining Plan:
1 quick-service meal per person, per night.
1 table-service meal per person, per night
1 snack per person, per night.
1 drink mug per person, refillable at any quick-service restaurant at your Disney Resort Hotel.
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan:
3 meals (quick service or table-service) per person, per night
2 snacks per person, per night
1 drink mug per person, refillable at any quick-service restaurant at your Disney Resort Hotel.
Disney Premium Plan:
Includes Dining, Entertainment, & Recreational Activities
All the benefits of Disney Deluxe Dining.
Unlimited use of selected recreational activities, including golf.
One admission per person to the Cirque De Soleil show, La Nouba.
Preferred fireworks viewing.
Unlimited admissions to select theme park tours.
Unlimited admissions to Children’s Activity Centers
You will probably spend a lot of your vacation money on food, but you do have the option to choose how you dine. Decide whether you want to choose a dining package or eat along the way. Here is an option if you are traveling on a budget– look into getting a family suite (these are offered in many Resort Categories.) They have a kitchenette in them, in case you want to eat sandwiches or cook a quick meal a few nights.
MEMORY MAKER:
Disney’s Memory Makeris a wonderful add-on feature. It is very affordable and it is a great way to capture every moment of your vacation. It allows you unlimited downloads of Photopass, Character Dining, & Attraction Photos. You will need a Magic Band Bracelet for Memory Maker.
PAYMENT:
