Hi travelers, thanks for stopping by! I have shared below some of my favorite cities and sights during my visit in Italy.

Let’s get started!

1. Vatican City, near Rome, Italy

Did you know that the Vatican is it’s own country? The Vatican and Sistine Chapel was one of the biggest highlights of our trip. If you are in or near Rome, these historical sights are highly recommended!

2. The Colosseum, Rome, Italy

The Colosseum is amazing in person. The colosseum is nice to enjoy in the early evening, or a full guided Colosseum tour can be purchased if you want the whole experience.

3. Trevi Fountain, Rome, Italy

Trevi Fountain is a beautiful sight. If you have it on your list to see, keep in mind it is much less crowded in the evening.

4. Pompeii, Italy

5. Florence, Italy

Florence is located in central Italy, so it make a great stop in between cities if you are traveling by train. Florence has a very enjoyable atmosphere, as well as great wine tours and neat restaurant options. I find myself often dreaming of getting back to this wonderful city.

6. Statue of David, Academia Gallery, Florence

7. Venice

Venice is definitely one of the most popular cities for tourism in Italy, but it is so BEAUTIFUL! I have dreamed of visiting Venice since I was little, so this was one stop I could not miss. Venice was easy to navigate upon arrival with the water taxi service. Venice can be seen in a day or two.

8. Verona, Italy

9. Portofino, Italy

10. Duomo and Last Supper Tour, Milan, Italy
